writing this after the third watch total

Mother refuses to compliment her daughter. When Nina says that her instructor said they would show her more that year, the mother resorted to saying that '[Nina] had been there long enough', etc., refusing to acknowledge her daughter's talent. Everything about their relationship feels monitored, observant, and judgemental.

Insecure. Like mother, like daughter.

From Nina's dream onward, the transition of becoming capable of not only acting but embodying the Black Swan is taking place. A quantum aspect to it. Two worlds at once. In one, it's magical, she really is the girl who turned into a swan. In a way, without Nina, this story couldn't have existed, even in thoguht or concept, and vice versa--again, quantum.

So, Nina is this girl-turned-swan, but this reality--ours, her, the 3D, earth reality--has different rules. Instead of turning into a swan and darkening and changing with magic, she does and experiences the equivalent in this world.

In that first magical world, it's like we're being let in on what the swan girl was really going through internally. It must have been very scary and hard to transform, and we now see how much of a toll it took on her mental health. Nina is so dedicated in the 3D, it's like it merged her and the actual swan girl. It's why she dreamt of it the night before, dedication seeping into the past.

The reincarnation of the swan girl

She can't relax. Does not realise or simply understand that she is extremely talented. Her mother never helped with this, again the beginning refusing to compliment or specifically reinforce Nina's confidence/performance quality. Nina is ver concerned with what others think about her. SHe was visibly disappointed/concerned when Thomas didn't tap her shoulders, more innocently excited when she realised it didn't matter (compared to the other dancers), again implying that she doesn't understand her talent.

She very nervous and too often and seriously takes into account the thoughts and opinions of others. Dwelling on things and consumed with nerves and anxiety instead of using it as motivation or acknowledging it honestly

Walking past the Black Swan she will jmerge with, being the more confident one, of course the Black Swan walked forward first.
